Task at hand: Create a new jersey for my hockey team with the idea of our jersey being a product we use to sharpen skates, but does not have a real world graphic logo.

How did we get here? I decided to start by taking the shape of the product’s bottle and using that as the base. Then after that, it was an easy decision to make the logo into a vintage style hockey player as the product and company have been around for quite some time. I started to add more pieces of the puzzle by adding a vintage hockey stick, vintage skates, and making the brush up top seem like hair coming out of the top of a headband. Finishing it up, I decided to add stripes to its arms and legs to match the style of jersey the team wanted to use, which matched the product’s colors and also the colors of the company whose product it is.
